Meet the mentors

Marina has been Nordwind's CTO through its full journey — from the first network diagram in Information Security Engineer to the cloud-native platform built in DevOps Engineer. She personally opens capstone defenses, reads the reports Power BI Developer students ship her, and mentors two short courses: presenting work with confidence, and using AI tools like a technical executive rather than a hobbyist.

Viktor was Nordwind's systems administrator in Information Security Engineer, patching the very servers a phishing attack once put at risk. By DevOps Engineer he has been promoted to Head of Infrastructure and personally mentors the DevOps track across all 14 modules, from the first CI pipeline to the resilience test that closes the capstone.

Alisa led customer support when a phishing email nearly compromised Nordwind's helpdesk — a story every Information Security Engineer student walks through first-hand. She later moved into securing containers, images, and the software supply chain, and shows up twice in DevOps Engineer to keep that same discipline alive in a cloud-native world.

Dmitri is the external penetration tester Nordwind hires when it needs an outsider's eye — first in Information Security Engineer, then again at the DevOps Engineer capstone defense, where he questions students' architecture decisions the way a real client would.

Igor leads data and analytics at Nordwind and mentors the Power BI Developer track start to finish, handing every student the same historical orders dataset he once wrestled with by hand. Before the switch to Power BI, Igor and his team spent years building sales summaries in Excel — the exact experience behind his two short courses.

Before Power BI, Olga spent her evenings assembling sales summaries in spreadsheets by hand. As Head of Sales she is now the primary stakeholder behind every dashboard Power BI Developer students design — she asks the business questions, and their reports have to answer them.

Maxim runs marketing for Nordwind's online store — the sales copy on product cards, the social calendar, and the Figma mockups his team ships for every campaign. He mentors three short courses built directly on that day-to-day work: copywriting, social media marketing, and Figma from scratch.
